The shooting of JAZBAA has commenced recently in Mumbai, and to know the view of the man himself and the experience of working with Sanjay Gupta, we got in touch with Chandan, who told us, "Sanjay Gupta is a big canvas director and there is always an international look and feel about his films. The same holds true for JAZBAA."
When we queried him about his exact role, he said, "I always work hard for all the characters that I essay. Okay, let me tell you in brief, my role in JAZBAA is on similar lines as Kevin Spacey in SEVEN (1995)," concludes Chandan.
Latest Bollywood Movies News
While initially there were reports doing the rounds stating that Deepika will star in the movie, no confirmation was received. Later media was agog with the news that Bollywood's latest 'Queen' Kangana Ranaut has been approached to pair opposite Salman in SULTAN. However, she turned down the role for Vishal Bhardwaj's RANGOON starring Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan alongside.
Now the rumours are rife that SINGH SAAB THE GREAT fame Urvashi Rautela might just grab the film.
As per an industry insider, "Urvashi has been in talks for the film SULTAN. She is even meeting Arbaaz and the makers of the film. Nothing is finalized yet but it seems the makers are quite impressed with the pretty girl and might consider her to play the lead role in SULTAN."
According to sources, Urvashi is a fresh face and will bring in a new aspect to this Salman starrer. Reportedly it's a meaty role and demands a lot from the actress.
Meanwhile, Urvashi Rautela is busy shooting for her south film and Divya Khosla Kumar's next SANAM RE.

A recent addition to this list is singer Pritam Chakraborty, who wants to see the film for more reasons than one.
Said the singer during an interview, "I'm looking forward to BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN a lot because this is a very favourite script of mine. I read the script and felt that it is one of the unusual ones. Moreover, it goes so well with Salman Khan - it is just his film," and adds, "When I see any clipping of the movie during editing, everybody is crying all the time. I think it's just going to turn out to be a brilliant film. And the music goes hand-in-hand with the movie."
And now our excitement to watch BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN has just doubled! Don't you all agree with us?
Rishi Kapoor (who plays Abhishek's father in the film), seems like he is facing a lot of problems (as the poster reveals 'It's all about My Problems'). Co-incidentally, Rishi Kapoor reminds us of his DO DOONI CHAAR character (that of a middle class man).
Supriya Pathak also seems to play Rishi's wife who might have a problem of forgetting things (we say so as the tagline to her poster says, 'I don't remember what it's all about!)
Asin, who should have come out as a 'wow' factor, also reminded us of her 'crazy' ad she promotes on television. Thus, we don't think there's anything 'great' about ALL IS WELL posters. What do you say?
"If everybody is booked, it does not matter. The situation now is that everybody wants to release their films during festivals because the business in festivals is really good. So by next year or next to next year, two films will release during festivals. Nobody will be able to book during festivals," said Ajay.
When he was asked if the monopoly of Khans booking festivals dates is good for the industry, Ajay's reply was, "The monopoly is not fair and it will break. It's just not right that you decide and say that you have booked a particular date. JAB TAB HAI JAAN and SON OF SARDAR released on the same (festival) date and both did very well despite SON OF SARDAR not having that many theatres. But now even that won't happen because the distributors have balanced it out. So if the movies release fairly, only the good ones will work."
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn has himself announced (and kind of blocked, if we may say) the release of SHIVAAY in Diwali 2016 and SON OF SARDAR 2 in Diwali 2017.
The actress is currently working on six-seven projects at a time (Tamil film ULA, Hindi films THE BRIGHT DAY, KAUN KITNE PAANI MEIN, THE FIELD, English venture PARCHED, Telugu film LION and MTV International's untitled next)
It seems Radhika is quite worn-out with her hectic schedule and seeking for a break. She took a micro-blogging site to share about her state of mind. "I don't feel like working today .. And tomorrow .. And the day after .. I think I need a longer break," Radhika wrote.
Well, Radhika you indeed deserve a break!
Ask her if she is out of her ABCD 2 character (Vinny) and she says, "I am still in that space. The other day I was rehearsing for ROCK ON!! 2 and I my body just started moving. I am still in that zone."
By now we all know that she is a brilliant singer and has sung quite a few songs in her movies. When asked her if singing in ROCK ON be difficult or will it be a cake walk, she said, "I have put a lot of restriction on myself because my vocal classes are on. It is very tough to keep away from spicy food and aerated drinks. I will have to rehearse a lot and I am very excited as I will get to rehearse with Farhan Akhtar."
Ask her if she is getting jitters and she says, "Yes, I am a very jittery person in general."
Also starring the trio from the first part- Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and others, ROCK ON!! 2 will be directed by Shujaat Saudagar and produced by Excel Entertainment.
When asked her about BAAGHI's shoot, she said, "BAAGHI shooting has begun but without me. I will join them from August."
Ask her if this role will be challenging and she says, "Very. Actually I feel every role of mine is very challenging."
Further, when asked her what different will we get to see in this character, without revealing anything she said, "It's too early to talk about this."
When further probed about what kind of preparations she is going to go through for BAAGHI's role, she said, "The thing that will be most challenging for me will be to change myself physically. I had lost a lot of weight during ABCD 2. The physical requirement for BAAGHI is different. I will have to put on weight for the film."
Also starring Tiger Shroff, BAAGHI will be directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
Ask the actress if female actresses are giving the Khans a run for their money and she says, "I think the Khans have conquered the box office since many 20-25 years now. It's not about competing but I want even our actresses to get the importance that male actors get. It's happening now. There will be a stage when everything will be balanced. No one will say that a film is male oriented or female oriented. People will just talk about the film."
Richa will next be seen in Neeraj Ghaywan's MASAAN, which is scheduled to release on July 24.
