Stupidest rumour of the year Aamir Khan to play Sanjay Dutts father

A lot of media space is being wasted in discussing the casting of Raj Kumar Hirani's proposed bio-pic on Sanjay Dutt when in fact nothing about the project has been decided except for the casting of Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt.

Latest reports that Aamir Khan will play Sanjay Dutt's father, the distinguished and much-loved Sunil Dutt, are totally discredited by people close to the project. "We really don't know where this has come from because there is no truth to it. Firstly Aamir Khan is younger than Baba (Sanjay Dutt), so the very thought of casting him as Baba's father, even if Baba is played by a younger actor, is unimaginable. That apart, the film is about Sanjay Dutt and not his father. Dutt Saab will be an important but a sectional part of the plot. Most important of all, Aamir has expressed no wish to play Dutt Saab to the director Raj Kumar Hirani," says a source in the know, who also adds that the casting of Sanjay Dutt's family in the film is "far away".

"There are so many other more practical considerations to be sorted out. No one is even thinking of who will play Baba's parents," ends the source, thereby putting a closure to the unfounded reports of Aamir Khan stepping into a project he has no interest in.

Varun Dhawan will show first draft of Judwaa sequel script to Salman Khan

Though for years there have been speculations about an impending Judwaa sequel, it was only recently announced that Gen Y star Varun Dhawan will be replacing Salman Khan in the second instalment. While the actor definitely finds it as a huge responsibility to fill in the shoes of this superstar, Varun Dhawan recently revealed that he will be lending the first draft of the script for Judwaa 2 to Salman Khan for a read.

Varun Dhawan recently stated that once the script is locked, it will first be given to Salman for his inputs. While the actor does maintain that his experience of acting in the first instalment of the film will be important, he also added that he is doing this out of respect. Varun's father David Dhawan shares a great rapport with Salman Khan and the Gen Y actor too has previously stressed on how much he respects the superstar for his vast experience in the industry.

Rumours of several actresses being approached to play leading ladies to the dual role of Varun Dhawan in the film have been doing the rounds. The latest we hear is that Parineeti Chopra is being considered for one of the them after their sizzling chemistry in the song 'Jaaneman Aah' from the film Dishoom.
