M S Dhoni to launch the trailer of his biopic across three cities

The team of yet another cricket biopic of the year, M S Dhoni: The Untold Story is currently gearing up for the trailer launch which will be held tomorrow, on August 11. Considering that the star cricketer has been involved in several aspects of the film, the trailer too will be launched by M S Dhoni himself.

Further the makers have decided to make this a mega-launch as it will be launched by the cricketer across 3 cities. After launching the trailer with 35,000 people in Jalandar, the next stop for the trailer launch will be Delhi. The reason why Delhi was chosen is because the city holds an interesting connect with the real and reel Dhoni. Team MS Dhoni plans to visit DAV Public School in Delhi to showcase the trailer of the film. DAV holds a special place in both, Sushant Singh Rajput and Dhoni's heart since the two of them are alumni of the same school. They would be in the capital on the 11th of this month to unveil the trailer. Talking about it, director of the film Neeraj Pandey said, "As Dhoni and Sushant hail from the same school, we thought it would be ideal to go back and launch the trailer at the school itself."

MS Dhoni: The Untold Story is a biopic based on Dhoni's inspiring journey from being a TT to the world best skipper and also stars Kiara Advani, Disha Patani, Anupam Kher among others and is slated to release on September 30.

Sharad Kelkar dubs for Vin Diesel in Hindi trailer of XXX Return of Xander Cage

Sharad Kelkar is a well-known face of Indian television who has managed to do Hindi and regional films along with dubbing as well. Last seen in John Abraham's Rocky Handsome, Sharad Kelkar has now dubbed for the Hindi trailer of Deepika Padukone's first Hollywood film XXX: Return of Xander Cage.

Shared Kelkar has dubbed for the film's lead actor Vin Diesel. Talking about his experience, he revealed that it was his first time dubbing for Vin Diesel. Sonam Kapoor and Abhijeet Bhattacharya indulge in Twitter war over Shobhaa Des comment

Noted writer cum columnist Shobhaa De, who is mostly known for her 'acidic' tweets, has got herself once again in a controversy after she tweeted about the Indian players at the ongoing Olympic Games in Rio. For the uninitiated, Shobhaa De took a dig at all the Indian players at the Olympics by tweeting "Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity."

Needless to say that the aforementioned tweet did not go well with almost everyone, which also included the singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya. He replied to Shobhaa De's tweet by stating "Unstoppable shameless #besharam budia's .. abusing and cursing their own motherland, own children, own talents .." It was this tweet of Abhijeet Bhattacharya that made Sonam Kapoor give her piece of mind to him. She tweeted "You're such a hypocrite.."

Not the one to keep quiet, Abhijeet Bhattacharya took to Twitter once again and replied to Sonam Kapoor by saying, "Yes @sonamakapoor we all r hypocrites bt not the Khandani FILMI type hypocrites nor page3, we r proud of our players".

Over to you, Sonam Kapoor!

Vidya Balan slips off the horse whilst shooting a sequence for Begum Jaan

Just a day ago, we had reported about Vidya Balan donning the roles of some iconic historic women in her upcoming period drama Begum Jaan. However, the actress ran into a tad bit of trouble whilst shooting a horse riding sequence for the film.

It so happened, that Vidya Balan was shooting a Razia Sultan scene for the film and the horse was a little frisky. Hence despite the horse riding lessons that the actress underwent, Vidya slipped off. Director of the film, Srijit Mukerji revealed details of the incident and added that the saddle had slipped but the actress continued to shoot. He also further mentioned that though he had given her the option of a body double, Vidya refused and wanted to complete the shot by herself.

Produced by Vishesh Films in association with Play Entertainment, the remake also stars Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Ila Arun among others.

Suniel Shetty to star in forthcoming Sidharth Malhotra Jacqueline Fernandez starrer

While Suniel Shetty has been spotted in special appearances and extended cameos of late, he will be seen playing a role with shades of grey for the upcoming Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer that is apparently titled Reloaded.

On the other hand, Suniel Shetty's character will be a suave one and we hear that the actor will also be styled accordingly in formals, will sport a beard and moustache. However, it is also being said that the film spans a decade with all the characters continuing their cat and mouse chase. Suniel's character too will age and he will further be seen donning the salt and pepper look. In fact, the actor is also said to undergo rigorous training since he will be doing a few action sequences in the film. He will soon take off to Malaysia to complete yet another schedule of the film there and has been prepping for the same.

Though there were speculations about the film being a sequel to the action packed Bang Bang (remake of Tom Cruise starrer Knight and Day), the rumours were denied by the makers who posed with a clapperboard on the first day of shoot that read 'Not Bang Bang 2'. Directed by Raj-Krishna, the film will also be shot in the picturesque locations of Malaysia and Miami.
